Verle Faye Friesen, 78, of Meade, Kansas, passed away on 6 August, 2025 following several years of serious health issues.

He was born in Dodge City, Kansas on 8 January, 1947 to Abe and Helen Friesen ( Weimer).  As a young boy, he attended school in Dodge City and later the Meade Bible Academy.

His lifelong passion centered around cars. He worked as a mechanic for many years and took great pride in a job well done. Verle had strong opinions on many things, but he never forgot a friend that he had made.

Verle was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnathan, his parents, his sister Shirley, and his brother Abe. He is survived by: his five children, Andrew Friesen of California, Heather Radcliffe, Rebecca Friesen, Michael Friesen of New York and Stephanie Lupton of West Virginia, four grandchildren, Celeste Friesen, Beatrice Radcliffe, Clover Radcliffe and Emerson Radcliffe and one sister, Ruth Anne Smith.

A celebration of his life will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade, Kansas. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas has been entrusted with arrangements.
