MEADE – Terry Lee Roberts, age 49, rode into this world on October 15, 1959, the son of Amon Marion "Cotton" and Isola Amelia (Ward) Roberts and took his last ride too the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2009.

Terry lived his life to the fullest bringing many smiles and laughs to all and touching the hearts of many. As a young boy he enjoyed being on his grandparents farm in Englewood or running the hills of Arkansas with his cousins and brothers. As a teenager, he found a passion for speed as he owned his first motorcycle. Carrying over into his adulthood, his love for Harley's grew.

As a young adult he found himself working in the oilfield working for over fifteen years. While in the drilling business he worked for Henkle Water Wells for eleven. Through his career he moved to Lakin, Kansas, where he met his soul mate, Bea Roberts. They were married on February 27, 1990, at Lakin. Upon their marriage the couple made their home in Lakin before returning to Meade in June of 2008, due to his battle with cancer. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, barbequing, riding his Harley or just sitting by the campfire. Nothing brought more joy to him than spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and father-in-law, Roy Langenbau.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Ron Willard presiding. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.

In lieu of flowers the family would welcome memorials to the Terry Roberts memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
