Suzanne Alexitch Reese, age 68, of rural Fowler passed away early Tuesday morning, October 6, 2026, at the Minneola District Hospital, Minneola, Kansas.

She was born December 24, 1957, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of George and JoAnn (Elbell) Alexitch. She grew up in Shawnee, KS and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, KS.

For 2 years in the early 1980’s she was the Night Supervisor of front desk staff in a major hotel in West Yellowstone, Montana. She and her lifelong co-worker friends, Tracy Kohlwey & Cindy Ostrowski continued to travel together occasionally.

In 1991, she married Jack Reese at the United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. They made their home in Fowler, KS and raised their 2 sons, Wyatt and Jett there.

A longtime SW Kansas resident, she had worked for the Fowler School System and the Meade District Hospital for many years. She enjoyed watching birds, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Jack Reese, rural Fowler, son Wyatt Reese, rural Fowler, and son Jett Reese, Lenexa, Kansas; two brothers, Dan Alexitch and Tom Alexitch, both of Kansas City, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial arrangements are pending. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas, has been entrusted with arrangements.
