ASHLAND – Sherry G. Resor, age 66, passed away early Monday morning, April 6, 2020, at Meade, Kansas.

She was born June 11, 1953, at Leoti, Kansas, the daughter of Earl Frank. As a young girl she attended school in Leoti. After her graduation, she attended nurses training and began her career as a registered nurse for several years.

She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, coloring, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Susie Mendiola of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Chawan Thompson of Texas, Dennis Kirby of Ashland, Kansas, John Kirby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a special friend, Brandi White of Ashland; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Allen Resor, Jr on December 6, 2006, and a daughter, Debora Michelle Scott on September 2, 2019.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
