Ruthie F. Zimmerle's Obituary
FOWLER – Ruthie Frances Arnold Zimmerle Glanzer, age 77, passed away into the arms of Jesus on November 16, 2010, at the Minneola District Hospital, Minneola, Kansas.
She was born to Henry and Odie Lee (Brister) Arnold on October 6, 1933, at Floresville, Texas. She attended Floresville High School where she played softball, volleyball, and basketball. She was selected for the All-State team, one of six girls chosen for the state of Texas. She was high scorer forward for two years, graduating in 1951.
She is survived by one sister, Willie Jean Hunt; four children, John, Jr., Jeannie, James, and Janet and son-in-law, Bo Gifford; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and three nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Glanzer and two grandsons.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
The family would welcome memorials to the Minneola District Hospital or the Minneola Community Clinic in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.
