PLAINS – Patricia S. (Patty) Lundblade, age 73, passed away late Saturday evening, June 6, 2026, at the Wheat State Manor, Whitewater, Kansas.

She was born September 27, 1952, at Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Sylvester and Eleanor (Brungardt) Kuhn.  As a young girl, she attended school in Ulysses, Kansas, graduating from Ulysses High School in 1971.

In August, 1974, she married Robert Lundblade.  After their marriage, the couple made their home in Plains, Kansas, where they owned and operated B & P Tires and B & P Fireworks for several years.  After many years of marriage, the couple later divorced.

She enjoyed crocheting, running her firework stand, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Mandy Rogers of Towanda, Kansas, and John Lundblade and wife Katie of Kingman, Kansas; four brothers, Tom Kuhn, James Kuhn, Sylvester Kuhn, Jr., and Mike Kuhn; two sisters, Mary Ann Koehn and Linda Miliam; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.  Cremation will follow services with burial at the Kismet Cemetery, Kismet, Kansas, at a later date.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
