FOWLER – LaWan R. (Lee) Keeton, age 87, passed away Tuesday evening, February 25, 2020, at the Fowler Residential Care Center.

She was born March 25, 1932, at Cordell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lee and Dolly (Coyner) Keeton. As a young girl she attended school in Cordell. After her schooling, she began her career with Marriott Hotels as a banquet coordinator for many years.

She enjoyed making Christmas candy spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two brothers, Truman Keeton (Kay) and Glenn Keeton (Karen); two sisters, Lela Mae Hamil and Darlene Perdue; several nieces and nephews including her niece and caretaker, Decina Heinz (Doug) of Fowler.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harvey, Jack, and Ronald Keeton; and five sisters, Geneva, MaxCine Morgan, Treova Zortman, Katie Keeton and Violet Keeton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Fowler Cemetery, Fowler.

In lieu of flowers the family would welcome memorials to the Hospice of the Prairie or the Fowler Residential Care Center in care of the funeral home.
