Juana Luna de Prieto, 79, died peacefully on March 9, 2017, at her home in Fowler, Kansas. She was born June 24, 1937, to Jesús Manuel Luna and Viviana Reyes in Vaqueteros, Chihuahua, México. She married Jesús José Prieto Gonzales on September 10, 1962, in Vaqueteros, México.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm. She loved taking care of her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jesús; sons, Modesto Prieto Luna of Virginia, Feliciano Prieto Luna of Virginia, Carlos Prieto Luna of México, Roberto Prieto Luna of Virginia, Antonio Prieto Luna of Virginia, Miguel Angel Prieto Luna of México; daughters, María del Refugio Prieto Luna of Fowler, KS, Paula Castillo of Fowler, KS; brothers, Jesús Manuel Luna Reyes, Juan Luna Reyes; sisters, Micaela Reyes, Emma Luna; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Adriana Prieto Luna; granddaughter, Elva Bowman; sister, Luciana Reyes; brother, Pablo Luna Reyes.

Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice in care of the Mortuary.

Rosary and Vigil Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at St Anthony's Catholic Church, Fowler. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at the church. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.  Interment will follow the service in the Fowler Cemetery, Fowler.
