KISMET – Annie M. Reed, age 77, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2021, at her Kismet, Kansas, residence.

She was born January 27, 1943, at Andover, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ernest and Annie Couture. As a young girl, she attended school in Andover, graduating from Andover High School in 1961. After her graduation, she began working for the Internal Revenue Service as a secretary.

In 1964, she married David Reed at Andover, Massachusetts. He survives.

Other survivors include her children, Cynthia Gonzales of Kismet, Kansas, and Cheryl Williams of Beaverton, Oregon; three grandchildren, Kristina, Brandon, and Madeline; and two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Allison.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and eight brothers and two sisters.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Kismet Cemetery, Kismet. Cremation has taken place. Services will be live streamed on social media for those that wish to view the service from a distance.

The family would welcome memorials to the American Cancer Society in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.
